Deodorant is probably the most important X because you want to feel fresh and confident all day long if your deodorant doesn’t work it can affect your self esteem and how you feel. As many of us wear it 24/7 I want it to be as natural as it gets – without aluminium, alcohol and silicones. I have searched for the best options on the market to create a list. Some of them are unfortunately only available in USA, so they are not an option for me, but I will put them on the list anyway. Some I have already tried and will share my experience and some I still plan to.

The ones I tried:

Sol de Jeneiro

Price: 19,95€ – get it here

Pros: I use this one for about a year now. It works perfectly for me all day long no matter what I do – even for 2-3 hour long runs or intensive training sessions.

Cons: Unfortunately it leaves stains on my clothes. It is not a big problem as they go away with wash.

Free of aluminium and baking soda.
Scents: Pistachio & Salted caramel, Brasilian Jasmin & Pink Dragonfruit, Black Amber Plum & Vanilla Woods

Schmidt’s

Price: 7,50€ – get it here

Pros: I love the Bergamot & Lime scent, it is very fresh and not overpowering.

Cons: It stains my clothes and I feel a lot of product goes on your skin with only one swipe so it didn’t last long for me.

Free of aluminium, propylene glycol, parabens, phthalates and artificial fragrances.
Scents: Rose & Vanilla, Bergamot & Lime, Cedarwood & Juniper, Coconut & Pineapple, Jasmine Tea

Malin + Goetz

Price: 25€ – get it here

Pros: I love the smell of Bergamot & Lime here as well and it doesn’t leave any stains.

Cons: Unfortunately it did not work all day for me.

Free of aluminium, alcohol and parabens.
Scents: Eucalyptus, Bergamot and Botanical.

Other available options

Drunk Elephant Sweet Pitti Deodorant cream

Price: 17,60€ – get it here

Pros: It has a more creamy consistency as the name suggests. The blend of plant oils and butters makes it a good nourishing option for those with more dry skin. It is not greasy even though it’s a cream and the smell isn’t overwhelming.

Cons: Many people report rashes from this deodorant which is a common problem with natural deodorants. Since there’s only one scent available it all depends on each individual if you like it or not.

100% free of sulfates, silicones, essential oils, fragrance, dyes and drying alcohols.
Scents: only one available

Glossier Deodorant Refill Stick

Price: 24€ – get it here

Pros: This one is made with Coconut oil and potato starch so you get nourishment and dry pits as the starch absorbs moisture. It is also supposed to be stain free which is always appreciated.

Cons: It contains Coconut oil so if you skin is sensitive to it you might go for other options.

Free of aluminium, baking soda, exfoliating acids or water
Scents: Sandstone, Glossier You, Orange Blossom Neroli and Unscented

Salt & Stone natural Deodorant

Price: 22,90€ – get it here

Pros: Good choice for those that sweat a lot. It contains a mixture of probiotics – those help balance skin’s microbiome and Hyaluronic Acid which is a water-loving molecule. The scents are refreshing and layer good with perfumes.

Cons: Generally I didn’t see a lot of negative response to this deodorant.

Free of aluminium, alcohol, parabens and phthalates.
Scents: Santal & Vetiver, Bergamot & Hinoki, Black Rose & Oud, Neroli & Basil

Aesop Herbal Deodorant Roll-On

Price: 30€ – get it here

Pros: It doesn’t stain, absorbs quickly and neutralises odours for most of the day.

Cons: It is a roll-on, so if you don’t prefer the milky lotion consistency this might not be the right choice for you. The scent is pretty strong and some people report it almost overpowers their cologne.

Free of alcohol.
Scents: Scent mixture of various herbs and another option that is more woody.

BAZ&CO Naturally Fresh Deodorant

Pros: It is a very fresh scent that many report lasts all day.

Scents:  A mix of herbaceous, citrus, floral and smoky tones.
