Best White jeans
If you follow me, you have probably already noticed my fondness for white and ecru trousers, especially jeans. I know a lot of people are afraid to wear white trousers. I am not so sure where this stigma is coming from, but I can guarantee you that if you still don’t own any white or ecru trousers, you definitely need one and it will probably be the most stylish decision you have made in a very long time.
White trousers can be worn all year long, but I know some people will disagree with that. There is no right or wrong in this situation, it is a matter of personal opinion. As long as something works with your personal style, you should be comfortable with it.
When it comes to light coloured trousers the fit is the most important thing, because if the fit is too tight it can quickly look horrible or even inappropriate and it will draw attention and ruin the look. But when done properly it will show confidence and usually nicely compliment the whole outfit and give the jacket or shirt the stage to shine. So if you have a very nice jacket in a contrasting colour that you want to highlight even more, this is the way to do it.
I prefer high rise for all types of trousers - in my opinion it nicely shows body proportions and looks more elegant. But I also understand that for some body types this might not be the best option. For me personally, high rise with a straight leg is what I would define as perfect timeless fit. I also prefer for my trousers to end just above the shoes, around mid ankle, so they don’t stack on the shoes. This gives the trousers room for a perfect drape and makes them look like they were tailored to your body.
Today there are many brands making solid jeans, but in this article I focused on those with the fit that I personally prefer - high rise with straight leg.
Berg & Berg - Arthuro Ecru
Ecru selvedge denim made in Italy. Generally considered as straight, more relaxed fit. My thighs are bigger than average, so they are not too loose, but just enough to drape perfectly.

This one is great fit for everyone that has stronger than average thighs. 13 oz. organic cotton woven in Nîmes, France and made in Portugal. It is one of my personal favourites but I wish it was selvedge denim and button fly instead of zip fly. The fit and the fabric makes it totally worth it!

14.5 oz. Japanese selvedge denim woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama. Another one that could fit the definition of perfect white (ecru) jeans - if you have “average” legs. In case you have stronger thighs I advise you to go try other options from this list.

Another great option - Japanese selvedge and made in Japan jeans. This one is slightly slimmer in thigh than other options on the list, even slimmer than Natalino. So it is perfect if you want a high rise with a straight leg, but not too much room and it should fit perfectly for those with slimmer legs.

One of the two white options from this list. 13.5 oz. Japanese selvedge denim and made in Japan. More generous in leg, so another great option for everyone with stronger thighs. It has zip fly instead of traditional button fly.
